Coffee 2021-06-17 Khea Pollard Cynthia A

June 17, 2021 | 12 - 1 PM Pacific

Cynthia Ajani & Khea Pollard // Cafe X: By Any Beans Necessary

Join Cynthia & Khea for virtual coffee and conversation about their work and learn about the upcoming launch of their house coffee blend Cafe X Factor, launching Juneteenth.

Cynthia Ajani and Khea Pollard are the mother-daughter co-owners of Cafe X: By Any Beans Necessary, a cooperative coffee shop. Café X: By Any Beans Necessary is a Black women-owned cooperative coffee shop built to support generational wealth building in the Black community and other marginalized communities. They do this by developing cross-sector partnerships with community-based organizations and individuals; sustaining creative and artistic projects; and developing the next generation of leaders to generate a social, cultural, and economic movement that changes the quality of life in our communities - one cup at a time. Khea & Cynthia are both San Diego natives who enjoy community building, sunshine, and dogs.
